Specialty gases

Specialty gases are used in a wide variety of industrial sectors. For this reason, Abelló Linde, S.A. makes and supplies all the special gases required for reducing unwanted emissions, assisting the detection and measuring of pollution in soil, water and air, and improving the working environment. Special gases are also a vital component when it comes to supplying the modern world with tools like: radio-telephonic communication, mobile telephones, microprocessors, memory chips and optical fibre.

Calibration gases
These are precise mixtures of high quality gases for research, development, process control, quality assurance and environmental analysis. Gravimetry guarantees exact doses of the components and, therefore, maximum precision. Calibration gases can be supplied to comply with a large number of international standards. All the manufacturing plants fulfill the permanent requirements.

High purity gases
Gas purity requirements from different industries and research areas are constantly increasing. The purest gases supplied for the electronics industry reach degrees of purity of 9.0 (99,9999999 vol.%). Post-purification processes allow impurities to be reduced to values in the region of ppb (parts per billion).

Gases for electronics
We also have our own equipment for production and post-purification, together with the precision analysis tools required to supply reactive gases for electronics with a purity of up to 6.0.

Equipment
The use of a high purity or precise calibration gas imposes strict requirements with respect to the equipment and the gas distribution system. Abelló Linde, SA can offer you all the necessary equipment, from a regulator to a complete distribution system, to maintain the quality of the gas from the origin to the point of use.
